Kendo Dummy is a fun way to hone your Kendo reaction time. Just strap your iPhone to a kendo target where it won't get hit and start training! Kendo Dummy counts down with clear traffic signals but waits for a random time before flashing green! That's time to hit! After you hit, Kendo Dummy tells you how quick was your reaction and saves your best time for each session. You can use it to train your class and see who gets the best time - Kendo Dummy flashes your time in green each time you get better too! Ready... Hajime!

It works by using the motion sensors on the iPhone or iPod to feel a bump. You can lay the device on the table, prop it up against something or velcro an old case to a target. It works like magic when you try it!

An easy user interface and minimal words make Kendo Dummy a breeze to use. A setup screen (hit the 'i' button) lets you adjust how much motion triggers a hit and also lets you vary the delay time. It automatically restarts after each hit so that you can get ready and train again without touching the screen. A reset button lets you reset the "best" time too. This app is fun and easy to use, but also very accurate and practical for serious training.
