One of the fastest and easiest ways to hit it farther and straighter is through tempo training. That’s why we created the LAUNCH CODE® Tempo Training app.
There’s one thing the best golfers in the world all have in common, TEMPO. Many years ago, it was discovered that the greatest golfers to ever play the game all fall into a specific mathematical ratio of the time it takes to go from the start of their swing to impact. Measured over an elapsed time where 30 frames equal one second, that ratio was found to be 3 to 1. With the average golf swing taking around one second, some golfers may swing faster and some slower, but they all fit into this specific ratio of 3 to 1.
The LAUNCH CODE® Tempo Training app utilizes a series of notes played in this specific 3 to 1 ratio, with the ability to train at various overall swing speeds. We’ve included note patterns for the most common swing tempos so no matter how slow or fast you swing, you can find the right tempo to help you maximize your swing efficiency.
The tempos we include in our app range from the slower end of overall swing speeds like the 30/10 and 27/9 tempos, to the faster end like the 18/6 and 15/5 tempos. You may find your swing tempo matches up with Tiger Woods at 24/8 or maybe you swing at a faster pace like Jack Nicklaus at 21/7.
No matter how fast or slow your swing preference is, using our app you can now master the swing tempo that works best for you and share one of the game’s great training secrets that the best golfers in the world all know.
**Please note that our training app is designed for the full swing. Training for short game shots or putting should be done at a completely different ratio of 2 to 1.
