NetScore Netball Scoring
iOS Universel / Sports
If you have ever stood on the side of a Netball court wondering what the score is, and how long left (or even which quarter we are in) then this is the App for you. It lets you keep track of the scores, shots and turnovers by period, by registering goals and missed shots with a single touch.
You want to watch the match and not be distracted by having to record scores in a cumbersome way. On the other hand you want to see match statistics, what the shooting percentage was, and shooting rates for both GS and GA separately either during the match or at the end.
NetScore allows to to achieve all of this while still enjoying the match.
You can set the tournament and team names, save and retrieve previous matches, and share your results with others. You can optionally keep track of non-scoring events (such as interceptions and rebounds) by position and named player so you can see the effectiveness of your whole team. You can pre-load a series of matches (a whole tournament, for example), then recall them when you're ready to start and there's not much time between matches. You can even change the colour scheme to suit you.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
It's hard to believe, but NetScore was created back before iOS had many of the built in Navigation UI elements that it does now. This update brings us up to speed, leaving behind the legacy navigation and embracing the built in iOS Navigation. Gives us access to a lot of built in features that everyone takes for granted on iOS now.
Major update to the Theme Picker! Strangely enough it seems that a lot of people never realised that NetScore has a bunch of themes! The Theme Picker now has its own screen (Settings -> Theme Selector). We've also updated themes in general to offer a bit more customisation and also 4 NEW themes!
By default the app will now launch with the NEW NetScore Green theme.
You might also notice some updated icons on the main menu. All part of making the app more welcoming and bring a bit of joy.
I've expanded the testing behind the scenes which found a few long standing bugs which have been fixes. Also a few bugs that have been reported by users.
Also a few user interface improvements including updating the icons used, added a new netball court graphic to the main menu screen, added a way to delete multiple items from the Results Centre (select all or select a few) and more.
The next update will be around backing up your app data including full backup and restore. The idea is to then allow more people into the testing phase of development without any concerns about them loosing their data.
Thanks for the continual support and suggestions.
