iPad app built specifically for US Sailing club race committees. Whether you're scoring a single Wednesday night race or managing a full three-season series, RegattaScoring handles the math so you can focus on the water.
RACE SCORING
Enter finish times in 24-hour format and let the app calculate PHRF Time-on-Distance corrected times instantly. Supports multiple divisions in a single race with staggered start times — Division A and Division B can start minutes apart and each gets their own standings. Hit Recalculate and every position, corrected time, and point total updates automatically.
HIGH POINT PERCENTAGE SCORING
RegattaScoring uses the US Sailing High Point Percentage system. First place always scores 100 points. Points scale proportionally based on the number of boats competing in each division, so a DNF or DNC affects the fleet fairly. Tied corrected times are handled correctly — tied boats share the higher score.
SERIES MANAGEMENT
Build a full season series with Spring, Summer, and Fall races. The app applies drop logic automatically — six races in a season drops the two worst, five races drops one, four or fewer counts everything. Qualification tracking shows which boats have met the minimum participation requirement, fully configurable per series.
Need to override the formula? Tap any boat in the standings to see their full race-by-race breakdown. Manually exclude a race that shouldn't count, or force-include a dropped race to maximize a boat's total when cancellations have affected the season.
FLEET & COURSE MANAGEMENT
Maintain a full fleet database with boat name, skipper, sail number, PHRF rating, and division. Import your entire fleet from a CSV file in seconds. Manage your course database with distance, bearing, wind range, and course type — import those from CSV too.
PDF EXPORTS
Export professional race result sheets and series standings directly from the app. Race PDFs show all divisions, corrected times, TOD differences, and points. Series PDFs include overall standings plus a detailed page for every boat showing each race, which scores were dropped, and season totals.
iPad TO iPad DATA TRANSFER
No cloud account required. Export your complete database — boats, courses, races, results, and series — to a single JSON file and share it via AirDrop, email, or Files. Import it on any iPad running RegattaScoring and pick up exactly where you left off.
