VicGold is a smartphone App for gold prospectors in Victoria Australia.

It combines the convenience of Mapbox Maps, using beautiful super fast loading vector map tilesets rendered by your devices GPU, with a large and ever growing amount of historic information showing where gold was found previously, from way back to our original gold rush, up to the current day, contained in simple to use layer overlays. It also features GPS Geo-location, allowing you to Locate or Track yourself live on the map, and put yourself right on on top of the gold. In addition to online Mapbox Maps, Offline maps are also available and included for all of Victoria's famous gold fields, for when you want to prospect in areas where there is no mobile coverage.

Introduced Layer Filtering, which allows you to filter each map data layer by specific criteria. For example, you can use Layer Filtering on the "Mines & Shafts" layer, to only show you Mines or Shafts that have produced more than 100,000 grams. Or to show you only mines with a gold grade higher than 10 grams / tonne. This is all possible using Layer Filtering, and it can be accessed in "My Settings" (the gear icon in the top left).

Fixed a bug that was preventing the name of "Fault Lines" and "Auriferous Quartz Veins" from displaying correctly in their popup box.
