This app has a ton of features and tools for the practicing Christian. Open the app and you can watch a new sermon each day from some of the greatest Bible ministers in the world, or just enjoy the beautiful scenic backgrounds that display easy to read Bible verses that update frequently. From here you can schedule an inspirational Bible verse notification or proceed to the Bible Help section.
The daily inspirational Bible verse notifications are easy to set up, and are designed to uplift you at your most difficult time of day or help you start each day with God’s Word.
Bible Help has 8 powerful sections designed to help you get biblical direction and face the challenges of life with confidence.
1. Ask for Guidance: This section utilizes a random verse generator for the purpose of asking God to give you direction and speak to you through his word. If you've ever opened the Bible randomly to see what verse jumped out at you, then you'll love this feature of the app. Simply touch the "Ask for Guidance" button and you will receive a randomly chosen verse each time you touch it.
2. Seek Bible Help: This section gives you quick navigation and easy access to scripture and sermons for help with 22 different topics that include: "Anxiety", "Career Problems", Controlling Anger", Dealing with Pride", "Depression", "Envy", "Fear", Financial Problems", Forgiving Others", "Greed", "Gluttony", "Health Problems", "Jealousy", "Keeping Faith", "Loss of a Loved One", "Lustful Thinking", "Marital Problems", "Peer Pressure", "Sin", "Sloth", "Stress", and "Patience". Each help topic is displayed with a beautiful scenic photo that changes each time you visit, and easy to read Bible verses that specifically address each problem.
3. Knock for Salvation: This section gives you video instruction on the reason the Bible states we must be saved. Here you have the opportunity to become a follower of Jesus or recommit your life to Him daily by praying the “Prayer of Salvation”. This section also includes video sermons on the need for salvation, and can be used to start a conversation to help a friend or loved one become a Christian.
4. Teachings of Jesus: In this section you have instant access to the entire account of Jesus which is divided into 37 different topics for easy reading. Want to know what Jesus said to the blind man or what he said at the "Sermon On The Mount"? Simply press the selection button and, you are taken to the location in the Bible where it occurred for easy reading.
5. Bible Trivia: Here you can test your knowledge of the Bible while exploring some of the Bible's most famous passages, or play a game and quiz your family and friends as you learn.
6. Christian Statutes: Get video sermons that will help you on your walk with God, and reference Christian beliefs and statutes stated in the Bible to help you make Biblical decisions and live a Christian life.
7. Prayer List: This section allows you to enter a list of people or things you are praying for, and keep track of how God is working in your life.
8. KJV Bible: This section contains all 66 books of the KJV Bible, and allows for easy navigation to the section you want to read, learn, or reference. This section also allows you to switch from text to audio, giving you access to audio files for all 66 books of the KJV Bible. This feature has immense benefits by enhancing accessibility, fostering deeper engagement, and facilitating multitasking, allowing you to consume Scripture during daily tasks like commuting or exercising.
