1.The method of contact information you first exchange differs from country to country as different people have different norms about what contact detail to exchange – whether it’s a number or a social media, no know ever knows!
2.1 in 3 people changes their email addresses every year due to changing circumstances, for example, starting new universities – so it’s a nightmare to keep tracking people down when you inevitably need to organize a zoom call or have an online meeting with them but don’t have their most up-to-date email.
