HeadGear is a useful mindfulness and meditation tool that will over time, become the Swiss Army knife of Mindfulness and meditation.

We have included two pieces of functionality in our first version.

Meditation Timer
There is a meditation timer that you can set with a start and end notifications and a visual progress indicator so that if you wish, you can check your progress towards your allotted meditation time. You can glance down at the progress timer without distraction or wait for the timer to sound one of our mediation bell sounds.

You can also pause your meditation timer, and resume your meditation. This is a meditation timer for the 21st century.

Present Moment Reminders
You can also set random, or timed, present moment reminders as part of your informal mindfulness practice. The timed reminders are designed to help you break the spell of the wandering mind and include random inspirational quotes to help to clear your mind and set it on a course that is useful for your happiness.

You have control of the text if you would prefer your own text to the inspirational quotes.

The present moment reminder is fully configurable for: the number of times you wish to be notified, the times of day you are happy to be notified and there are options for different configurations for weekdays and weekends.

We are working to constantly improve and add useful features and functionality to the app so please do feed back to us what is useful and what you think we can improve. The app will always have basic and useful functionality for free.
