The all.u.me app connects callers with backups and is a learning portal for the bystander intervention method, The 5Ds by righttobe.org. Downloading the app is the first step in turning good intentions into impactful actions. Our goal is to break down the barriers associated with everyday harassment. Through innovative technology and beautifully crafted jewelry, we’ve developed a concept that empowers everyone to take action and make an impact.

For all of us who care deeply about our loved ones and wish to support fellow humans - who could just as easily be daughters, sisters, girlfriends, friends, or partners - this app is equally important. all.u.me aims to empower everyone to speak up or step in when witnessing or experiencing harassment. The connection between the caller and backup is based on Bluetooth and location tracking.

JEWELRY
Our jewelry is connected for a purpose and features an integrated caller button. If the wearer feels unsafe, they can press the button three times to activate a network of backups. When calling for support, your phone will make a “distraction call” as a potential exit from the uncomfortable situation. To activate your jewelry in the app, you must complete the bystander intervention training in the all.u.me app.

BACKUP
As a backup, you’ll be trained in bystander intervention and notified when someone nearby feels unsafe. A backup is someone ready to support and assist the caller in de-escalating the situation. The 5Ds are effective strategies that support callers without escalating the situation.

* Get reminders on how to use one of the 5Ds to intervene
* Cancel if you accepted a call by mistake
