ASCTHEM is a proprietary and innovative counterfeit detection technology solution of Sarfez Technologies, Inc. It allows customers to directly ask the manufacturer of a product ‘is this yours’. Our detection system has no language barrier – a ‘red cross’ indicates a counterfeit and a ‘green check mark’ indicates a genuine product. It is simple, easily field deployable and adaptable to any manufacturing environment. With the help of this unique mobile phone application, the customers can scan the ASCTHEM certified barcode on the product label.
A company authorized personnel can conduct a random check at a distributor, wholesaler or a retail outlet by scanning ASCTHEM barcode on any random package by using his smartphone. The scan will immediately trace back to the product origins whether the product is genuine or not that will be displayed on the smartphone screen. While scanning, our mobile app is intelligent enough to capture the last known location of the product. If there is a mismatch between the last known location and the current location of the same product, a deeper investigation can then be initiated to trace out the product genuineness.
