The data collection is based on GPS/GNSS data and is compatible with various devices. Some of which connect directly to the app for the highest quality data collection. The solutions which provide the best quality data are:

Alternatively, the app is compatible with any GPS device which pairs to the iPhone. 

Additionally, when using the internal iPhone GPS the app contains an optional sensor fusion algorithm to interpolate between the 1hz GPS updates that the internal sensor provides. Typically 1hz is too slow for motorsports applications but this may provide usable data with no additional hardware required.

This update makes the app much more useful for folks that opt not to use start or finish lines. The analysis tools for looking at various course sections individually now work without predefined courses.

New:
* Auto start/stop recording without start finish lines. This will use speed to trigger the start and end of recording instead of start/finish line crossings.

Improvements:
* Improved the behavior of timing sync points on the map. More accurate analysis of time delta for subsections along the course.

Bug Fixes:
* Fixed bug that could cause app to crash when switching between courses in analysis view.
* Fixed bug that could cause cones to persist when switching between courses in analysis view.
