The data collection is based on GPS/GNSS data and is compatible with various devices. Some of which connect directly to the app for the highest quality data collection. The solutions which provide the best quality data are:

Alternatively, the app is compatible with any GPS device which pairs to the iPhone. 

Additionally, when using the internal iPhone GPS the app contains an optional sensor fusion algorithm to interpolate between the 1hz GPS updates that the internal sensor provides. Typically 1hz is too slow for motorsports applications but this may provide usable data with no additional hardware required.

Small tweaks and bug fixes

Tweaks
* Slightly adjusted the location of the course overlay in video export
* Slightly adjusted the sensor fusion parameters for using internal GPS
* Increases the polling rate for auto start/stop to avoid missing some starts and finishes during a run

* Fixed bug where internal GPS wasn't used when it should be
* Fixed bug where using "/" character in the course name causes some app features not to work
