This release also includes a mandatory security update for older versions. Versions before 5.4.6 do not include the full protections now required by our current security controls, including stronger login verification, stronger password reset verification, and application signature validation. We identified suspicious activity targeting outdated client flows, so requiring users to update is necessary to protect user accounts and prevent abuse of deprecated versions.
