# Budgets For Plans

## Plan Setup
Start your budget by creating a plan that fits a year, a project, or any custom goal. Plan settings let you rename the plan, pick the working currency, track your card billing day, attach optional PDF header/footers, archive unused plans, and toggle Pro Kit collaboration and permissions.

## Entries & Tags
Add income and expense entries with names, tags, dates, and amounts. Mark entries as recurring to repeat every month for subscriptions, pay checks, or bills, and tag entries to keep charts and filters organised.

## Charts & Metrics
Swipe through the triple chart carousel to compare expenses, income, and the month balance. The metrics grid below highlights today’s position, month-to-date totals, and plan-end projections with income and expense breakdowns.

## Export Data
Once a plan has entries, export your numbers in formats that work for spreadsheets or polished reports.
- **CSV**: standard comma-separated values compatible with Excel and other spreadsheet apps.
- **PDF**: professional report with summaries, charts, and entry details.

## Import Data
Import entries from a CSV file when creating a plan or from the plan settings. The CSV must follow this column order:
name, date, amount, income, tag
- `date` should be in `dd/MM/yyyy` (e.g., 25/12/2024).
- `income` is `true` or `false`.
- `tag` is the category name.

## Archive Plans
Archive plans you no longer use to keep the active list focused. Archived plans are still accessible and can be restored anytime.

## Sharing & Collaboration (Pro Kit)
Enable collaboration in plan settings to create a share token and launch the iCloud share sheet.
- Share plans with view-only or comment-only roles tied to Apple ID invites.
- Manage people, pending approvals, and comment threads inside the Collaborator Hub.
- Collaborators can read comments linked to entries while the owner keeps edit control.

## Pro Kit
Unlock the Pro Kit to reveal premium automation and collaboration tools.
- Smart Cashflow & Bill Guard keeps tabs on upcoming bills and warns you about shortfalls.
- Insights feed surfaces trends so you can react to shifting income, expense, or savings patterns.
- The Collaborator Hub plus comment and approval flows keep shared plans tidy without expanding entry edit rights.

## Watch & Widget
Use the watch app to view plan snapshots on your wrist and rely on widgets backed by App Group storage to stay synced with the latest plan data.
