An innovative calculator featuring enhanced RPN and algebraic modes that let you calculate with confidence.

BVCalc provides enhanced and more intuitive versions of the RPN and algebraic (infix) entry modes compared to the existing calculators. Since BVCalc's "history tape" (or "paper tape") when in algebraic mode is actually the same thing as the "stack" when in RPN mode, you can easily switch between the two modes at any time and continue operating on the same partial results in the stack/history.

Enhanced algebraic mode features:
- As you enter the expression to calculate, its current result is displayed and updated as you type, so there is no need to ever press an [=] key (and so this calculator does not even have an [=] key). Instead, just press [Clear Entry] to discard or [Enter] to save it to the "history tape".
- When you reuse a calculation from the history tape inside a new expression, the full expression gets substituted (the existing calculators only substitute the value). The final expression result then shows what was actually entered and calculated making it easier to spot entry mistakes and to interpret the final expression.
- For improved readability, when an expression uses multiple nested levels of parentheses, they are shown using distinct colors.

Enhanced RPN mode features:
- Unlike existing RPN calculators that only show the result values on the stack, BVCalc also shows the corresponding algebraic expression. Furthermore, this expression corresponds to the history of calculations performed so far. When you perform operations on the stack, the corresponding expressions are recursively substituted into the final expression. The expression is displayed using the same infix notation as in algebraic mode and even automatically includes parentheses when needed. This allows you to easily check for entry mistakes and understand what each item on the stack represents, overcoming one of the previous main limitations of RPN calculators.
- UI enhanced for touch: Existing RPN calculators include special purpose keys to manipulate the stack such as [SWAP], [ROLLD], etc. BVCalc lets you simply tap on a stack item to perform these operations more intuitively: tap any item to swap it with position 1 or tap the item in position 1 to perform ROLLD.

Other features:
- Basic and scientific keyboards.
- Copy/paste expressions or result values.
- Long-tap any item in the history/stack to edit its expression and fix any entry mistakes.
- Calculate faster with external keyboard support.
- No ads.
