We've fixed an issue where some of our richer, more detailed voices could sound choppy — with short gaps or stutters interrupting the speech. This happened because those voices take more processing power to generate, and playback could momentarily get ahead of the audio being produced, leaving small silent gaps.
Playback now waits for the next piece of audio to be ready instead of inserting silence, so speech plays back smoothly and without interruption — even on the most resource-intensive voices.
