Freq shows you the frequency of sounds around you.
Point your mic at something and see the frequency. If it's a musical note, you'll see which one and how sharp or flat it is.
There's a spectrum view to see all the frequencies at once, and a waveform that shows the actual sound.
You can adjust how precise the analysis is - faster updates or more accuracy.
