The NightVision Light is an illumination app (variable light intensity) that is best suited for operations in the dark. You can light close at hand softly with either red color light or bulb light according to your intentions.
Red color light mode protects your night vision.
There might be occasions that you need to confirm with a star map or check the settings of your telescope or camera in the dark with a flashlight. However, white color light of the flashlight spoils your dark-adapted eye because the pupil of your eye shrinks by it. In this reason, it is necessary to take a preventive measure against it by using a red color light of low illumination that allows for maintaining your vision in the dark. The NightVision Light app turns the screen to illumination in red color to protect your night vision.
Bulb light mode prevents the reddish foreground from "star-scape" photos caused by the red color light.
It is very effective to apply the red color light for operations in the dark to avoid affecting your night vision. However, amount of light received by the sensor of your camera is good enough and the red color light may cause a reddish foreground (fogging in red) in the "star-scape" night photography. To avoid this phenomenon, the bulb light model is newly applied. The intensity of the bulb light is variable.
