SWLstation
iPhone / Utilitaires
SWLStation is the full-featured iPad version of SWList, bringing a larger and more complete shortwave listening experience to the bigger screen.
Station Identification and Search
The app includes both EiBi and AOKI shortwave databases, updated directly from within the app. You can search by frequency, station name, language, country, or target region. Results can be filtered by the current UTC time to show only active broadcasts. A world map displays active stations as markers, with a detail view for each one.
Shortwave bands are also browsable as a list.
Logging
Received stations can be logged with date, time, frequency, mode, SINPO code, receiver, antenna and notes.
The log browser lets you review past receptions and export them in ADIF format.
Remote Receiver Control
SWLStation can connect to a receiver running rigctld (Hamlib) over your local network.
Frequency and mode are read automatically at regular intervals and used to drive the station search. You can also tune the receiver directly from the app.
Audio from the receiver can be streamed over the local network using the VBAN protocol.
Speech-to-Text
When audio streaming is active, the app can transcribe what you hear using Apple's speech recognition.
Eight languages are supported, with the option to use on-device processing for full privacy or online recognition for better accuracy.
SWLStation is a companion app for shortwave listeners — a dedicated radio receiver is required to tune and listen to broadcasts.
