The FREE Uniden Marine app provides, when coupled with a Uniden Marine VHF radio with Bluetooth Text Messaging capability, the ability to use text messaging between Uniden and West Marine radios when offshore, out of range of Cellular or Wi-fi coverage.

•Use your phone to send and receive private text messages
•Just pair your phone to a Uniden (Bluetooth enabled) VHF radio
•App uses your radio DSC Individual directory for text messaging contact information
•The receiving radio will acknowledge the received text message (when in range)
•Also works with West Marine VHF radios with Bluetooth, Text Messaging capability
•RTCM 12301.1 Standards compliant
