AR Isawa Castle ~Sakanoue No Tamurmaro & Aterui~ is designed for use at the Isawa Castle Site in Oshu City, featuring AR and VR recreations of the castle walls and gates in their prime. Isawa Castle was constructed in the early ninth century by Sakanoue No Tamuramaro, Commander-in-Chief Against the Barbarians (Sei-i Taishogun), as headquarters for the imperial court's subjugation of the Tohoku region; the homeland of ancient folk hero Aterui.
(Available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Thai)

Isawa Castle Southern Gate AR/VR Recreation
One prominent feature of the castle is its enormous southern gate, the largest of its kind in ancient Tohoku, which can be seen recreated in full-size via highly-detailed AR and VR. You can climb the castle’s reimagined pounded-earth walls and explore the multifloored watchtower, all while taking in the virtually enhanced sights from all angles.

AR Sakanoue No Tamuramaro and Aterui
Aterui, cheiftain and hero of the Emishi tribes, and Sakanoue No Tamuramaro, conquering general of the Tohoku region, have been lovingly rendered in 3D. Take AR souvenir photos with two of Tohoku's greatest warriors!
