The AwayZone app is used to access the AwayZone community.

The app connects business owners and service providers who represent a racial, ethnic, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation minority group to consumers who are seeking culturally specific experiences. It’s like Yelp but with cultural identifiers.

Users first select cultural identifiers, then they select the business or services of choice. Once the options have been made, the user receives culturally specific, up-to-date, usable information on the minority-owned, culturally focused businesses in the area.
