We confirm that the app does not include any advertising, and no advertising functionality is implemented within the app.
The background location functionality in the app allows the user to trigger GPS notification and auto-play audio when they reach stops on the tour. As a tour guide app, it is designed to work in the background so the user can walk the tour and listen to the audio while the app is running in the background and the phone is in the user’s pocket. Without the background location permission, the app won’t trigger notifications and auto-play the audio when the app is running in the background.
