Smart Reminder is a geo-location enabled reminder feature.Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. You can set a reminder to trigger at a specific location within a specific time range. Eg. you could set a reminder for 7 pm every thursday & choose the location of your grocery or favorite take-out on your way home from work. Once you are near that location, you are reminded to do the task. Set a range so you get a reminder few hundred meters or a few kilometers, allowing you to take an exit or prepare to hop off metro.
