efi is the on-demand service of wupsi GmbH and supplements the public transport offer in parts of Leverkusen and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. efi takes you from A to B easily, flexibly and individually.
When and where?
efi runs between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends and public holidays in the following operating areas:
Operating area 1: Opladen, Bergisch Neukirchen, Quettingen, Lützenkirchen and the rural part of Steinbüchel
Operating area 2: Odenthal, Dabringhausen and Bechen
Fares:
The on-demand service from wupsi GmbH is integrated into the VRS fare and can therefore be used with all regular VRS tickets and subscription chip card tickets. If you don't have a ticket yet, you can buy one in the booking process of the efi app and pay with Paypal, credit card or direct debit.
Registration:
You can easily register in the efi app by providing your name, mobile phone number, email address and means of payment.
Ride booking:
Enter your starting point and destination, select the number of passengers and let us know if you already have a valid VRS ticket. The app will tell you the pickup time and location. Bookings in advance are also possible. If you still need a efi ticket, you can purchase this directly in the efi app.
Get in and off you go with efi!
Routing:
An algorithm calculates the shortest route and combines this with simultaneous travel requests from people whose routes are on the same route. In this way, all passengers reach their desired destinations as quickly as possible.
Vehicles:
The well-known electric vehicles of the "London Cab" type are used. People with restricted mobility can also get into the vehicle comfortably via a ramp, with large grab handles to help you! A panoramic roof and the pleasant driving experience ensure a comfortable journey. Up to 6 passengers can be accommodated in the vehicles.
