Isi is the on-demand service operated by Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG. Isi complements the KVB public transport offer and gets you from A to B in a climate-friendly way.

#When #Where
On weekdays Isi is available in Nippes and Porz during the day. On weekends and before public holidays Isi is available in the city centre and in parts of Ehrenfeld, Deutz and Mülheim at night.

#CheapTravelForEveryone
Isi is integrated into the regular VRS tariff which means that, as a regular customer, you can use Isi during the day with your VRS chip card or your monthly or weekly ticket. A small surcharge applies at night. As an occasional customer, you can pay for your ticket conveniently by PayPal or credit card. 

#HowItWorks
- Register: Simply enter your name, mobile phone number, e-mail address and payment details – and that's it!  

- Book a journey: Enter the start and destination of your journey, the number of people and select whether you already have a valid VRS ticket. 

- The app tells you the fare and pick-up time for your journey. You can also book Isi up to three days in advance. After booking, the app shows you the way to your pick-up point, usually at the next street corner. 

- Hop in: Isi will arrive in just a few minutes and you’ll be on your way.

- Hop-in and drop-off points are places that you can easily reach on foot, e.g. junctions, KVB stops, shops or places of interest.

- Travelling together: The intelligent algorithm links the journeys and calculates the ideal route to take all passengers quickly and comfortably to their individual destinations. The fastest route will be calculated personally for each passenger, from their starting point
to their destination.

#Vehicles
The electric vehicles, which are modelled on traditional London cabs, are nearly barrier-free, have a ramp and visible handles. The large panoramic roof creates a light and airy atmosphere. You can easily charge your mobile phone via USB during your journey.

#GoodForTheClimate
By using Isi, you are making an active contribution to climate protection, as Isi bundles the rides of all passengers who are travelling in the same direction.
