The app was created as part of the Mauchline Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS), a heritage-led project jointly funded by East Ayrshire Council and Historic Environment Scotland. Its development was inspired by students from Robert Burns Academy, with initial designs by Ayrshire College students, audio generously provided by the Mauchline Burns Club, and historic images kindly shared by Kenny at AyrshireHistory.com.
