The pamlo - AR Japan Guide is a travel guide app that provides assistance for your outings with a variety of augmented reality (AR) experiences and multi-lingual support.

It is very simple to use.
Set your country and language to start. The content will display in the language you select.
The app has three modes: map, camera, and emergency. In camera mode, you can enjoy AR experience and take photos.

■ Map and camera home screen
The map of nearby attractions and camera can be used at the same time. Share the photos you take at any time.

■ Attraction guide support in over 100 languages
Guidance is available in your native language. Shown alongside photos and videos, you can also use the guidance for local information and to find routes from your current location. (Most translations other than Japanese and English are machine translations)

■ Discover attractions with AR!
Scan pamphlets or signage at attractions to reveal images, sounds, video, and 3-D models. When the attraction icon appears, you can get information on nearby attractions.
Sometimes, there are even characters registered to the attraction. You can take pictures with characters you like and share them for fun memories of your trip.

■ Video from a wine bottle?
Enjoy an AR experience with video playing from pamphlets, posters, and even wine bottles.

■ Reliable in an emergency
If you lose your passport or otherwise need to contact your country’s government office, the app will guide you in your native language to the government office of the country you registered at first.

This service has just begun and not many locations have been recorded in it yet, but we will continue to update information as it is recorded.

This app collects statistical data regarding the trend of use to improve service, but the data will not be used to identify any individual.

The app may not work properly depending upon the smart phone you use, other apps you have installed, use state of memory, and network connectivity.

Since pamlo uses AR technology, we recommend the following environment.

iPhone SE, iPhone 6S or more terminal with 2GB RAM or more
Devices with iPad Air 2 or higher, iPad Mini 4 or higher, and iPad Pro RAM 2 GB or higher
