Pitiüses Bus is the offline bus companion for the Balearic Pityusic islands — Eivissa (Ibiza) and Formentera. Built for residents and visitors alike, it works without a signal everywhere except map tiles and GPS.
EVERY LINE, EVERY STOP
• 17 lines covered: T1–T7 main lines, AERO1–AERO5 airport lines, and Formentera's L1, L2, L3, L5, L7.
• Road-accurate route polylines that follow the actual roads.
• Every bus stop on both islands plotted from authoritative coordinates.
LIVE TRACKING TO YOUR STOP
• Continuous GPS shows your position on the map as a pulsing dot.
• A persistent strip at the bottom always shows the nearest stop's next three departures, with live "in X min" countdowns.
• Walking-time estimate next to the distance — if a bus arrives before you can walk to it, the time turns red so you know to look for the next one.
TAP, FOLLOW, GO
• Pin a target stop so the strip stays on it as you walk, instead of swapping to whichever stop is closest.
• Search every stop by name or by line code (try T3 or AERO4) sorted by distance.
• Tap any stop on the map to see today's full service: next eight departures, median time between buses, and the last bus of the day for each line and direction.
DAY-AWARE TIMETABLES
• Automatic day-type detection — Sunday and any Balearic public holiday switch to the Sun/holiday schedule.
• Pick "Today", "Tomorrow", or any weekday to plan ahead.
WORKS OFFLINE
• All stop locations, route geometry and timetables are bundled with the app — nothing is fetched at runtime except map tiles and GPS.
• No account, no sign-up, no email required.
PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY
• Your location is processed on the device only and never leaves it.
• No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
• No backend at all — there are no Syntherma servers receiving anything from this app.
DATA SOURCES
Timetables are derived from the operators' publicly available schedules (busformentera.com and alsaibiza.es). Stop coordinates are cross-checked against OpenStreetMap. Note that Ibiza times are the summer schedule; the airport lines and Platja d'en Bossa stop times are verified, while the northern Ibiza T-lines (T4–T7) carry a "~approx" badge in the app. Ses Salines (Formentera) and a few northern Ibiza coastal stops are marked "location approximate".
