The new mobile application Visit Maribor will take you to the most important historical points of the city by the Drava river - you will visit the oldest vine in the world, discover a square where the first electric light bulb in this part of Europe was turned on, go underground on a tour of one of the largest and oldest wineries in Europe ... at all sites while the surprising facts and photos are awaiting to take you into the past for a few moments.

The Visit Maribor app guides you through four thematic trails - discover wine symbols that will lead you to the oldest vine in the world, explore the origin of the city’s name, discover where the old city walls used to be or simply enjoy the Drava river.

An internet connection is not required to use the Visit Maribor app - simply download the app to your mobile smart device and follow the guide as it takes you around the second largest city in Slovenia.
