Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Mac Geek Gab 3.1 is a ground-up UI rebuild. Every screen has been rewritten in SwiftUI for a faster, smoother, more modern experience.
Complete SwiftUI Rebuild
• All five tabs — Episodes, Bookmarks, Feedback, Live Stream, and Settings — rebuilt from scratch
• Player redesigned with an Apple Music-inspired layout: clean artwork, episode and chapter info below
• Chapter List presented as a modern half-height sheet with a Chapters/Bookmarks picker and currently-playing highlight
• Episode Detail and Bookmark Detail screens rebuilt with clean, grouped layouts
• Audio Recorder rebuilt with native waveform visualization
New: Mini-Player
• A persistent now-playing bar sits above the tab bar across all screens, just like Apple Music and Apple Podcasts. Shows artwork, episode title, and current chapter. Tap to open the full player.
iOS-Style Navigation
• Episodes, Bookmarks, and Settings now feature large navigation titles that collapse as you scroll, with translucent bars that content fades behind — matching the look and feel of Apple's own apps.
Redesigned Live Stream
• Cleaner, centered layout with the next live stream schedule front and center, play/stop controls below, and a direct link to the Discord live chat.
Redesigned Feedback Screen
• Modern icon-based grid with quick-tap access to Call, Discord, Record, and Email. Social links for each host with real brand icons. Other Podcasts section with show artwork.
Under the Hood
• Replaced MagicalRecord with a modern Core Data stack
• Replaced AFNetworking with native URLSession networking
• Removed 22,000+ lines of third-party dependency code
• Removed EZAudio — Audio Recorder now uses native AVAudioEngine
• SwiftUI TabView and NavigationStack replace the UIKit tab bar and navigation controllers
Bug Fixes
• Fixed dark mode issues across multiple screens
• Fixed large blank space at top of Settings screen
• Fixed NotificationServiceExtension crash
