The pregnancy period is the happiest time of the life. Expecting moms can’t wait to look for various devices such as fetal Doppler free, baby heartbeat app, baby Doppler (also called as fetal Doppler, heartbeat Doppler, baby Doppler free or simply Doppler), to listen to their baby heart beat. Listening to their baby's heartbeat can strength the emotional connections, record the most precious moments, and share the happiness with their friends and families.

BabyStemo mainly has three functions:

1. Listen to, record, save and share the fetal heartbeat or baby heartbeat. BabyStemo works with Stemoscope to allow expecting mom to listen to baby's heartbeat free from hands. With Stemoscope, you can easily hear heartbeat. Babies heart beat is beautiful, BTW.

2. Record the heartbeats of the moms and playback them to their babies after they are born to soothe them when they cry. Babies get very familiar with their moms' heartbeat (most part of the womb sounds) when they are still in the womb and continue enjoying these sounds after the birth. Womb sounds are the best baby soothing sounds.

3. Listening to the babies' heartbeat during their growth is also some kind of care and emotional connection.

Compared with a fetal Doppler, Stemoscope has two differences.

1. Stemoscope does not use ultrasound to detect the baby heart beat and it is not a Doppler device, so this avoids potential harm induced by the incorrect use of ultrasound. Baby Doppler use ultrasound to detect heartbeat. Ultrasound can heat the tissue of the body. Inappropriate use of a fetal Doppler may result in harm to the baby. In 2014, US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) even issued a safety warning on the use of Fetal Doppler at home. Stemoscope listens to the sounds passively and is more suitable to listen to the fetal heart at home, especially for recreations.

2. Stemoscope does not need coupling gel applied on the belly, so it is more comfortable.
