Whisperbox is a work of fiction made for fun. It does not detect, contact, or communicate with spirits, ghosts, or the dead. Every sound is randomly generated audio, and the on-screen field meter is a theatrical visual effect. It is a campfire-story machine for ghost-hunt nights, sleepovers, road trips, and Halloween - not a scientific instrument.
