Akamai Zero Trust Client for iOS and iPadOS lets you securely access your organization’s applications and resources directly from your mobile device, while also protecting your network traffic from security threats.
The client works in conjunction with Akamai’s Zero Trust service deployed by your organization. It leverages your organization credentials and single sign-on (SSO) authentication to provide you with a secure way to access your organization’s network.
Zero Trust Client unique technology combines VPN Service, to steer mobile applications network traffic on your device, with Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol to route the traffic to Akamai Cloud and then, securely onward to the organization's application servers.
To safeguard enterprise mobile devices from threats such as malware, phishing attempts, and command-and-control callbacks, the client securely routes DNS and HTTP/HTTPS traffic to Akamai Cloud for inspection.

New features and improvements-
TCP Optimization support- In addition to HTTP/HTTPS, TCP Optimization in EAA now also applies to RDP, SSH, and SMB/CIFS protocols.
Allow users to disable Threat Protection support- SIA lets you decide whether users should be able to disable Threat Protection on their device.
With Allow users to disable Threat Protection disabled in Enterprise Center, the toggle to disable Threat Protection in the client is no longer visible to users and Threat Protection is always enabled on the device.
