DNSFilter — Roaming Client
iOS Universel / Economie et entreprise
In order to fully use this application, you must possess a valid DNSFilter account.
The DNSFilter roaming client is an endpoint security solution for organization-owned iOS devices running in supervised mode. It offers the power of DNSFilter’s global threat protection and content filtering protection to your iOS device. When running this app, DNSFilter is able to secure your DNS traffic without requiring a VPN, on any cellular or wi-fi network, regardless of where in the world you are located.
Organizations can optionally deploy and manage the roaming client via MDM to ease deployment in large or enterprise environments.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
What's New
----------
- Improved MDM Support -- User name, hostname, and device tag changes in an installed configuration profile now propagate to the Dashboard without requiring a Site Secret Key change, keeping user attribution, device naming, and grouping in sync as MDM policies evolve
- Automatic Site Reassignment from MDM -- Site Secret Key changes in an installed configuration profile now trigger automatic re-association to the new site, enabling fleet migrations through MDM without policy gaps or reinstalls
- Stronger Admin PIN Protection -- The iOS Roaming Client now applies progressive delays between incorrect admin PIN attempts, making automated guessing impractical while keeping legitimate retries fast
- Refreshed Branding -- App icons, visuals, and UI elements have been updated to match current DNSFilter branding
Bug Fixes
---------
- AirPrint and network printer discovery -- Single-label and DNS-SD queries now route to Local Resolvers when configured, and DNS-SD follow-up queries are handled consistently, so all discovered printers appear while the Roaming Client is active
- More reliable filtering after login and registration -- Configuration is now refreshed on a short interval instead of on every DNS query, resolving a case where a device could briefly show blocked content immediately after login, plus an intermittent site-key registration issue
- Diagnostic logging enabled by default -- Debug logging is now on by default for new installs so Support can retrieve logs from the first run. Users can still disable it in the app
