NetDex gives you the ability to separate and clean up the contacts on your mobile device. Keep your personal life and business life separate. Did you list the plumber as “plumber” in your contact or by the company name? What was the company’s name anyway? Where did I put their business card? ...now you can just open up the NetDex app and type in a few keywords and find who or what you need in seconds.

First, you will have your own Rolodex. Here you can add service providers by entering their contact information into our ‘add provider’ feature. If you don’t know all of the company’s information, don’t worry, as long as you provide enough contact information, the NetDex staff will research the company and fill in the gaps for you and update the contact information. You also have the option to add a company that already has a profile in our database. Just click on the add feature and the service provider will be added to your Rolodex.

Once you have companies in your Rolodex you can choose to recommend them to other users who you have established a connection with. NetDex uses the data in the contacts of your mobile device to cross reference other users of the NetDex app. Once a existing user has been identified you have the ability to see that user in the Connections tab of the app. Simply request to be connected to the other user and now you have established a relationship. Once connected you can see what service providers your connection has recommended to their network. Other users will also be able to find service providers who you have recommended. We take connections and recommendations seriously. We do not use social media ‘friends’ or “connections” to create a connection on our platform. We want to give you recommendations from people you actually know. That is why we use the contacts on your device. If someone has made their way into you mobile device’s contact list, then you must know them pretty well.

To find a service provider that you need for a specific service you have multiple options. Go to your Rolodex, type in any number of keywords (location, task you are looking for, company name...). You will see the service provider(s) who match those search terms. Don’t have a company in your Rolodex for what you need? Go to the search tab. There you can search for what you need based on who is recommended by your user connections. Still out of luck? Go to the global search feature. This will search the database of all companies that meet your needs.

Don’t post a “in search of” on social media, hoping a ‘friend’ will recommend a trusted provider. Be proactive and find a company that is recommended by someone you know and trust.
