Reado Collection
iPad / Education
The Reado Collection is composed of Reado, Reado Flash and Reado Fun; 3 great reading applications designed for children that are learning to read or children presenting with reading difficulties.
The Reado Collection is great for speech-language pathologists, resource teachers, teachers and parents who wish to improve their students’ or child’s reading skills with entertaining and easy-to-use applications.
** Reado **
The Reado word bank contains over 9300 words that are subdivided in micro-graduated word lists specifically targeting reading objectives. The application allows you to give an explicit and systematic instruction in regard to grapheme-phoneme correspondences for short vowels, long vowels, vowel digraphs, diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, consonant digraphs, consonant blends, visual confusions (b-d & b-p) and contextual spelling rules (hard and soft C, hard and soft G).
In a few clicks, choose your reading objective and set the reading level. With Reado, planning your “reading sessions” has never been faster or easier! Also, the children greatly appreciate the interactive interface and the entertaining games.
** Reado Flash **
With this entertaining quick and easy application, you benefit from the same Reado word bank, which contains over 9300 words classified by goals and levels of difficulty, but the words are presented in a flash reading mode.
For an efficient use of the flash reading mode, the application settings allow you to set the speed of word presentation in milliseconds. It also offers progressive appearing and disappearing modes. Moreover, there is a manual mode which gives you the opportunity to adapt the speed to the child’s need.
Reado Flash is an essential tool for all professionals using flash reading.
