The Bendigo Kangan Institute is committed to providing a safe workplace and learning environment. We believe that everyone is accountable for the health, safety and wellbeing of our people.

At BKI, remote work is part of our day-to-day operations. We encourage our leaders to connect their teams working remotely, by using the Virtual Safety WALC in conjunction with Safety WALCs.

The Virtual Safety WALC helps BKI leaders to build a positive leader-led safety and wellbeing culture by being visible, and connecting through our values in both a physical and virtual environment.

In using this app, you will be supported to be a visible and capable health, safety and wellbeing leader. You can do this by recording and reporting your Safety WALCs, and by reviewing and submitting maintenance checklists.

The BKI HSW AR app also provides you with details of how to conduct a Maintenance, Hazard, Contractor, Hand, and Ergonomic Safety WALC.
