Forest Plant Identification helps you explore nature like a scientist by using filters that reveal similarities and differences between plants around the world.

You can identify plants quickly using the photo identification feature — either take a picture with your camera or choose one from your gallery.
For a deeper understanding, try the scientific identification method, where you answer simple questions about a plant’s characteristics. Each time you use it, you'll become more familiar with plant features and identification techniques.

Different filters are available for each plant type:

Trees: Leaf shape, arrangement, margin, venation, and more
Flowers: Petal count, color, fragrance, light and water needs, etc.
Mushrooms: Hymenium type, cap shape, ecological type, stipe character, and more
Use the Favorites page to save your favorite trees, flowers, and mushrooms. You can mark where you found them on the map, add photos, and track their changes over time. Whether for fun or scientific observation, it’s your personal plant journal.

The app includes several tabs for easy navigation and a more educational experience. For example, the Plant Identifier List tab lets you view all plants together while organizing them into trees, flowers, and mushrooms.
