Yoruba Language is widely spoken in Nigeria and around the world with many Yoruba people and children living in many countries of the world.

This Talkasoft app ensures that the Yoruba culture and tradition is kept from generation to generation. The app teaches users how to read, write and pronounce Yoruba Language.


The app also teaches exact pronunciation of translated language by relating the translated data to the actual meaning of the English data e.g. “light” can mean illumination and can also mean a not too heavy load. The app teaches the end user how to pronounce accurately this type of translations and distinguish one similarly pronounced words from another.

The app also uses English phrase translations to ensure accurate understanding of the Yoruba language.

The professional version enables users to update the translated data if they are using it to teach others as there are many ways to speak a language. It also enable users to create new data translations, record and play back or delete audio Yoruba data, record and play back or delete dialog audio Yoruba data.

Dialog audio data helps to elaborate on the translated Yoruba data and may be used to teach the user what to expect in reply to what they are saying to local speakers of the language.

The Yoruba translations are also aided by media display such as pictures or video information.

The app comes with advance and intelligent Quiz modes to test the user's knowledge of accented characters and/or also with just basic understanding of the language.

The app has graphical images associated with most translations to support learning with kids and children.
