"Spelling - Small words" is a great app for children who are just about to break the code of reading.
"Spelling - Small words" consists of 4 smaller apps.
1. Find the first sound
2. Find the last sound
3. Find the middle sound
4. Spell the whole word
The app is using only short vowel sounds and one-syllable words with 3-4 phonetic sounds, depending on the level. The app comes with 300 tasks.
As for all of the apps from Leap Learning, "Spelling - Small words" is designed to work well on both iPhones' small screens and on iPads with bigger screens.
