Whalefy: Manual Budget Tracker
iPhone / Finance
Whalefy — an easy-to-use assistant for managing your budget
Whalefy helps you manage your personal budget with a simple and clean interface. Everything you need for tracking your money is in one place — without unnecessary complexity.
No Ads
From our point of view, a financial app is not a good place for advertising. That is why Whalefy does not disturb you with banners, pop-ups, or short video ads.
Transactions
Whalefy supports three types of transactions to help you record your financial activity: income, expenses, and transfers.
Each transaction can include a short comment, so you can keep important details and remember what the transaction was for.
Wallets
Create as many wallets as you need: cash, cards, savings, investments, credit cards, loans, and more.
You can create wallets with positive or negative balances, making it easier to track both your money and your debts.
Categories
Income and expense categories help you understand where your money comes from and where it goes.
They give you a clearer picture of your cash flow and make budget tracking easier.
Advanced Analytics
Ratings, charts, and diagrams for different time periods help you analyze your budget in detail.
Whalefy gives you a clear overview of your income, expenses, and balance, so you can better understand your financial habits.
Data Security
Your data is stored securely and protected using modern security practices.
Whalefy does not connect to your bank accounts and does not access your banking credentials. All transactions and wallets are created manually by you.
Simple and Reliable
Whalefy is designed to be easy to understand from the first minute.
It is a simple personal finance tool that helps you track your budget, organize your money, and stay in control of your finances.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Locale-aware currency formatting
Amounts across the app now use each currency’s natural formatting — separators, decimals, and symbols (e.g. USD, JPY, RUB) instead of a single Russian-style layout everywhere.
Smarter multi-currency transactions
Transaction rows show the wallet’s native amount first; if it differs from your default currency, a second line shows the converted amount. Transfers show debit and credit in each wallet’s currency.
Accurate analytics in your currency
Charts, pie breakdowns, category totals, wallet flow, and “top transactions” are calculated in your default currency, so multi-wallet setups reflect real spending and income.
Home highlights in your currency
Weekly and monthly summary cards on the home screen now aggregate transactions in your default currency, not raw EUR.
Wallet balance in the header
When you open a wallet’s transaction list, its current balance appears in the navigation bar next to the wallet name.
Quick date navigation
Use the chevrons next to the date when adding a transaction to move one day back or forward without opening the calendar.
Date picker fix
Opening the calendar now dismisses the keyboard and blurs amount fields, so the date picker opens reliably instead of fighting with the numeric keypad.
Math expressions in amounts
Expressions like 100+50 or 200/2 are now evaluated correctly when saving — the calculated result is used for validation, wallet updates, and the stored transaction, not just shown in the field.
Better amount search
Searching transactions by amount works with locale-formatted numbers (e.g. 1,234.56 or 1 234,56), matching how amounts appear on screen.
Transfer rate hint
The suggested exchange rate between wallets is formatted according to the destination currency’s conventions.
