Digital Rupee (also known as e₹ ), a new form of currency launched by the Reserve Bank of India. eRupee is a legal tender, similar to sovereign paper currency, and is issued in digital form by the Reserve Bank of India.
G20 SBI Digital Rupee app is developed exclusively for G20 Summit to be held on Sept 9th and 10th at New Delhi, To Showcase India's Central Bank Digital Currency to Delegates attending the Summit.

Delegate who wishes to experience the App is provided with 10 digit voucher codes with prepaid amount,while registering the application using the voucher a digital rupee wallet is created with the designated amount.

G20 SBI digital Rupee app facilitates secure, fast digital currency transaction using Digital Rupee wallets. This Digital Rupee wallet will be similar to your physical wallet but in digital form.

Things you can do on G20 SBI Digital Rupee app:

- Load Digital Rupee via Voucher.
- Send & Receive Digital Rupee Tokens.

- Load Digital Rupee via Voucher.
while during registration Vouchers are used to create wallet with prepaid amount.

Person using G20 SBI Digital Rupee app can send digital rupee to person who has a Digital Rupee wallet either using payee registered phone number or by scanning payee wallet QR Code.
