1. Download the Lightyear app (or use the web app) and open your account.
2. Deposit funds in GBP, EUR, or USD in your General Investment Account, and in GBP in both your Cash ISA and Stocks and Shares ISA.
3. Invest in companies and funds you believe in.
4. Earn interest on uninvested cash.

In the event of Lightyear UK Ltd default, if there is a shortfall in the cash or assets returned to you, you may be able to claim up to £85,000 via FSCS.
