Mktbox was created by a duo of hedge fund PMs who wanted a better way to manage and analyze their own investments on mobile. We built the tools we wished existed and are now excited to share them more broadly.
*** Portfolio Tracking ***
Mktbox is designed to be the home for all of your investment accounts.
You can link accounts through Plaid, enter positions manually, or create simulated portfolios. Portfolios can be viewed individually or combined, giving you a complete picture of your investments in one place.
For each position, you can analyze performance across any time horizon such as daily, weekly, monthly, or since purchase. We support multiple tax lots and provide detailed tracking at the transaction level, so you can understand how partial buys and sells have impacted your returns.
We have also built our own performance system, allowing you to compare your portfolio in real time and historically against major indices like the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow Jones. Attribution is built in. If your portfolio is up 10%, you will be able to see exactly which positions contributed to that result and how it all adds up.
Dividend tracking is also included, with visibility into income across time as well as upcoming announced and estimated payouts.

We have integrated AI directly into the portfolio experience.
Our system combines multiple models with real-time market data and our own internal logic to provide fast, contextual answers to your questions. Instead of manually digging through data, you can simply ask and get a response tailored to your portfolio.
*** Stock and Market Tracking ***
Even if you do not link a portfolio, Mktbox is designed to be a powerful stock tracking app.
We have built a flexible home dashboard where you can maintain a primary list alongside additional watchlists. Across all of them, you can view real-time pricing, including pre-market and after-hours data.
Within any list, you can analyze performance across all securities over any time period. This perspective is rare, but incredibly useful for understanding trends and relative performance.
Each stock page includes real-time charts, key financial metrics, and deeper context. Rather than just showing a number, we help you understand what it means. For example, whether a P/E ratio is high or low relative to peers.
We also provide financial history through proprietary charts, allowing you to quickly analyze trends in revenue, margins, and other key metrics. A mobile-friendly view of the income statement is included, along with year-over-year changes across major line items.
AI is also embedded here, already aware of the stock you are viewing and ready to answer questions with up-to-date context.

We believe the current mobile experience for financial news is broken.
Most sources are cluttered with ads, popups, and low-quality content. We built Mktbox to fix that.
Our system uses AI agents to read and process articles from thousands of sources. This allows us to filter out irrelevant or poorly tagged content and generate concise summaries.
The result is a clean, curated feed centered around the stocks you care about. You can also focus on individual stocks or specific publishers.
We have also built a custom reader that strips away everything except the content itself. No ads, no popups, just a clean reading experience.
