How weekly step contests works?

All weekly contests start on Mondays and finish the following Sunday with the results announced shortly after. You can compete for prizes or for fun depending on whether the group admin has set prizes or not. Public contests like out International one are open to everyone, contests hosted by private groups are invite only.

Leaderboards will enable you to keep an eye on how other players are doing every step of the week, so you can catch up or stay on top (or for bragging purposes).


Creating groups

Create your own groups to host weekly step contests and invite your friends & family to join. Groups are joinable by invite only and you can manage your group pic, prizes, name and members from the admin screen. Prizes can be set for the next 2 contest from the admin screen, you can also compete without prizes.


Profile

You can also track your personal progress with Outrun on your profile screen, showing you statistics on total steps, distance, and calories burnt. It’s here that you can also change your profile picture, username and choose tracking app.

We do not share your activity data at all, it’s yours and it will stay that way!

Prizes offered in private groups will not be supplied or enforced by Outrun (MCMXCII LTD) or Apple. Prizes offered in public/verified contests will not be supplied or enforced by Apple, direct all issues and queries to Outrun (MCMXCII LTD).
