Quiet Nights: Kids Sleep
iOS Universel / Forme et santé
QuietNights is a sleep trainer for young children (ages 1–6) and the parents who put them to bed.
Because toddlers can't read a clock, QuietNights replaces numbers with color and character. At bedtime, the screen fades to a deep navy — your child's owl, sheep, or bear closes its eyes. When morning is getting close, a warm amber glow appears and twelve stars slowly disappear one by one, giving your child a concrete countdown they can actually understand. When it's finally time to get up, the screen turns green, the character's eyes open, and the day can begin.
FOR CHILDREN
– Full-screen, distraction-free display designed for little hands and sleepy eyes
– Three friendly animated characters to choose from: Owl, Sheep, or Bear
– Color-coded states make it instantly clear: dark = stay in bed, green = get up
– Star countdown in the "almost time" window removes the "is it morning yet?" guessing
– Built-in nap timer with a calm blue display for daytime rests
– Night light mode dims the screen so it works as a soft glow in a dark room
FOR PARENTS
– Parental gate (simple math challenge) keeps settings safely out of little hands
– Set bedtime and wake-up time with a simple time picker
– Configure a warning window (15–60 min) before wake-up for the star countdown
– Optional gentle alarm sound at wake-up time: soft chime, birdsong, or bell
– Nap timer: start a 30–180 minute countdown from settings at any time
– Night light brightness and auto-off timer, so the screen doesn't disturb sleep
– Choose your child's character and give it a name
– Show or hide the digital clock; pick 12h or 24h format
– All settings persist across restarts — configure once, rely on it every night
