SunCoast Blood Center’s SCBC Donor Portal App offers our donors fast, easy, round-the-clock access to their Donor Portal. This app will allow donors to
schedule appointments, communicate with the blood center, monitor
vital health statistics, receive eligibility notifications, and redeem Donor Points in our online Donor Store. The SCBC Donor Portal is user-friendly, compatible with mobile devices, and works with other smartphone features.

SunCoast Blood Centers has been the independent community-based Blood Center for Sarasota, Manatee, Desoto, and Charlotte Counties for 70 years! SunCoast Blood Centers provides a reliable supply of quality blood products and services to hospitals and health centers in need. Our singular purpose is to collect, test, process, match, store and distribute all the blood products required to serve the hospitals and health centers in our community.

In 1949 the blood bank collected 551 pints of blood, now called “units." Today, more than 1,000 blood drives are held annually, and more than 38,000 units of blood are collected. The success of this organization has relied completely on the generosity of its loyal donors. In continuance of our mission we will strive to address new opportunities to provide our donors with state-of-the-art collection and testing instruments that maximize blood donor and recipient safety and comfort as well as staying up-to-date with the needs of our increasingly tech-savvy donors.
