The Tapping Through Breast Cancer App offers transformative Tapping/EFT sessions designed specifically for women navigating the path of breast cancer.
We understand that this journey is not just a physical battle but an emotional and psychological one as well. The experience of facing breast cancer often brings with it profound feelings of anxiety, helplessness, overwhelm, fear, and grief, as well as a loss of identity and confidence.
Our quick and easy sessions are dedicated to providing you with a supportive space to experience the power of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), known as ‘Tapping’.
This is a simple form of acupressure that is evidence based / scientifically proven to affect significant change to the nervous system. Tapping is a gentle yet powerful tool, that helps address the emotional challenges that arise during your treatment and recovery.
Choose the ‘Reclaim me with EFT’ program to follow the 'Tapping Roadmap' that takes you from the edges of the cancer tornado, where overwhelm, anxiety and fear exist, to the eye of the storm, that place of calm, stillness and safety. There you can reclaim your identity and embrace the future with hope and purpose.
Each session can be done at your own pace in the privacy of your own home.
The app is designed by Cheryl Smith, a qualified and experienced counsellor who has had her own experience of breast cancer. Cheryl now supports many women taking the breast cancer journey, and has recognised there are some common emotional and psychological experiences shared by each woman. These have been integrated into the sessions.
