True Potential is your solution to creating random but equal teams, instantly! More importantly, the machine-learning component built into the Team Selector consistently improves the match-ups with every game played, driving competitors to boost their games to the highest levels. Pick-up basketball, soccer, volleyball and more benefit by featuring competitive teams and equitable playing time! And, as soon as a game ends, new lineups are immediately available to start the next game right away. Wherever there are teams, whenever there is competition, reach for your True Potential.


Essential Details:

•Every team is randomized and every game has distinct match-ups, so each individual's personal win/loss percentage is a true indication of their contribution to the game results.
•True Potential tracks and records each win and loss for every player and uses this data to algorithmically create teams.
•As the user, it's as easy to administrate a single pickup game as it is to manage up to six separate courts simultaneously.


How It Works:

•Before the start of the game, the user sets the activity, number of players per team and number of courts in use.
•Next, the participating players are quickly selected from the database and automatically added to the wait list.
•Touching the "Generate Teams" button creates curated rosters for both teams.
•Whenever a game ends, the winning team is registered, stats are recorded, players are returned to the wait list, and the app is ready to generate teams for the next game.
•By default, winners and losers both return to the bottom of the waiting list, with priority given to the winners, in order of their personal win/loss percentage. The losing team is randomized and placed on the list below the winning team.
•Research has proven that moving both teams to the wait list at the conclusion of each game leads to the most equitable playing time for all participants. In addition, it gives rise to the most random but equally-matched teams, promoting the highest level of satisfaction and sustained effort.
•If a new player arrives after games have started, their information can be entered quickly into the system and their name added to the game wait list.
•If a player decides to leave early, a simple swipe removes their name from the wait list. If the teams were already created, swiping the name will remove the player, take the next person on the wait list and reconfigure the teams for ultimate equivalency.


Winners Stay - Yes or No:

•With respect to the culture of "Winners Stay," True Potential rewards the individuals who win most often, as well as the team that wins the most recent game, by placing them on the wait list with regard to their earned statistical priority.
•However, the settings menu gives the option to the user to allow the winners to stay on the court indefinitely, if desired, or to limit the number of consecutive wins before the team is sent back to the wait list.


Set Up:

•To enter players into the system, names and mobile numbers can be entered manually or imported in bulk via .csv file. Player statistics can be exported just as easily.
•Up to six separate game configurations can be stored for easy game administration, including name of activity, number of players per team, and number of courts/fields in use.


The Stats:

•The player database can be sorted quickly by Names, Total Wins, Games Played and Win Percentage.
•All records data is stored securely in the cloud, accessible with your login information on any iPad with the True Potential App. Internet connectivity is required to login to True Potential and to import and export data, but...
•After login, WiFi and broadband are not necessary to use the True Potential Team Selector algorithm and all its game administration features!


Versions:

"Free" allows one game configuration, one court and one hundred database records.
"PRO" allows six saved game configurations, up to six courts and one thousand database records.
