TWR - The Waiting Room

This app is dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of people living in Birmingham and Solihull in the United Kingdom. It links you with local support services from across the area in the simplest way possible. The Waiting Room (TWR) is the one stop directory of support that puts health and wellbeing at your fingertips being simple to access, search, navigate and share.

The directory is split into 24 Life Domain areas and by clicking on an area will take the user through to a list of local and national websites and contact numbers that can be accessed for the purpose of information and direct support. The Life Domains include Welfare Advice, Education and Employment support, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention support, Help lines, Substance Misuse service support, Children and Young People services, Virtual Support and Abuse prevention services to name but a few.

The Waiting Room is a free of charge online App that has been developed and is provided by Common Unity and Forward For Life – West Midlands health and wellbeing services that support communities to support themselves through innovative approaches.
